Date of Accession02 August 2005
Bio History Note"This cup was the first one made as a model for the Elgin Office (Church of the Brethren). It was remodeled extensively by the Elgin Office and made out of myrtle wood instead of using this cup. This cup was turned by Robert Frantz, a college student" (from note accompanying cup in McPherson College library). Frantz was Business Office Manager at Manchester College.

In May 2005, "McPherson College...sent the Walnut Cup to Elizabethtown College, on a 'permanent loan' basis, to be placed in the Young Center [for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies] collection."
