Scope and Content

1. Limited membership records as kept by ministers.

2. File cards in box - membership notes by Pastor Alice Archer.

3. Large binder (replaced with file folder container by J. Wine) with notes by Pastor Allen Weldy on incoming and outgoing members. [Some inaccuracies and ommissions may exist.]

4. Excel document by Karin Rettinger.  This document summarizes her project, listing member names, dates and method of inclusion/withdrawal, birthdates, name/location of new chuch, date of death, and type of record where the information is located. [Note: Due to the nature of the primary source material some inaccuracies and ommissions may exist.]

4. Sunday School record books, 1917-1918 and 1919-1920.

5. Membership transfers into congregation, 1918 - 1970.

6. Membership transfers out of congregation, 1927-1998.

7. Certificates of Baptism.

Bio History Note

Mount Pleasant Church of the Brethren started in 1848 as the Yellow River congregation and closed its doors at the end of 2011.
