Scope and Content


The Manchester College Children's Theatre Group presented two performances of "The Crossroads" under the direction of Professor Scott Strode, on January 16 and 17 1984. This is a DVD made from of the original VHS tape.  The DVD is located with the original collection, MC2009/90d.

The VHS tape was discarded 14 November 2017 because of its age and because the best possible digital copy had already been made.

Bio History Note

Background material is accessioned with MC2009/90d. Professor Scott Strode, began his teaching career at Manchester College in the area of Speech Communication and Drama in 1974. Professor Strode retired at the end of school year 2008.

Included in this collection is the "Children's Theatre Touring History" (1978 through 2005) and the "History of Play Production at Manchester College" that lists every play from 1919-1920 through 2007-2008.

The VHS tape was digitized and uploaded to the Archives' digital network site under the supervision of Stan Pittman (Manchester University Department of Instructional Technologies) during May 2013.
