Scope and Content

The first part of the video shows the interior of Oakwood Hall prior to demolition.  Some drawings-graffitti on the walls, examples follow: "Piquero de Patas Azules, Blue Footed Booby, Lori."  "If trees could scream, no one on Easrth would slepp peacefully again!" A bulletin board crosses off the days to demolition...to "The end." Names of women in Oakwood 2E.  A tribute to Oakwood - "Jen Flory left this place, but Oakwood lives!"  and "Tina Rieman, Bye, now."

The second section of the video shows the demolition, along with individuals watching during various stages of the event.

The third section shows the reconstruction of Oakwood Hall.

Date of Accession04 June 2013
Bio History NoteThe video begins with a shot of a banner hanging at Oakwood Hall - it says - "Welcome Oakwood Women."   Some of the video footage includes women who seem to be reminiscing about the building.  Maybe an event, a reunion of sorts, was scheduled prior to demolition?
