Scope and ContentThis video begins with shots of Native American men, Chief Godfroy and his brother, along with President Winger, who dons a sash and grips a tomohawk. L. W. Ikenberry, smiling and in glasses, stands to the viewer's right with a group of women. It appears as if everyone is assembling on the Manchester College football field. The football team runs out and the marching band plays. The American flag flies overhead. Follows is a parade in the town of North Manchester, with the marching band and a procession of what appears to be the May Day Queen and her court. They are taken to their destination seated in units that are carried by men.  Otho WInger, Winger and man in hat?, Carl Holl (I believe), Kintner (beard), L. W. Shultz (pile of books), two students interacting, two women, L. W. Ikenberry (round glasses and top coat) - and others. A label of "Monkey Business" marks the next segment: - unidentified men and tehn shot of football field and football game - marching band - spectators - Winger and another man - car - tree - little girl and sidewalk. Then this video is identified as C. W. Holl No. 2. Is this also part of Holl video? - or was there a mix-up? Shot of city and building and a bus "RENTED" and a trip to Niagara Falls. It appears as if male Manchester College students might be visitng the "Falls." They take a ride on "Maid of the Mist." Pictures of a city and a skyscraper and train cars marked with "notes" - Manchester College, Manchester College-21, Buffalo -(?), Manchester 21, BC-6, MC-21 UB-6. Maybe Manchester's football team played the University of Buffalo? Another set of pictures at the railroad track - train cars marked (in chalk?) "Manchester Special" - "We Got The Bacon!" Pictures of triumphant arrival back in North Manchester? C. W. Holl No. 3 - This segment documents a football game

Bio History NoteIt is not known whether segment C. W. Holl Segment 2 and 3 are a part of the first part of this video [the Native Americans].  It could be that the Other historical video labeled as a Holl film [MU2013/89], should be included in this group of 3 in stead of the Native American segment? It would have been very easy to get these films out of sequence. More information was given when Carl Holl's son viewed the film.  This film appears to be a copy of MC2009/147b which is described in detail.  Film was probably made by Professor Don Martin.
