Bio History Note

Kuhn's appearance is sponsored through the John Livingston Knox Memorial Lectureship, established by family and friends of John L. Knox, a teenager who died in a tragic accident in 1968, to celebrate and encourage the vital awareness of disturbing issues and the fervid questioning spirit that lives in him.

Maggie Kuhn - Leader in work on social justice for persons of all ages.  She joined with others to found  the Gray Panthers, an intergenerational organization devoted to eradicating discrimination in ageism.

Cassette tape digitized by MU Department of Information Technology Services, January 2014.  Jeanine Wine discarded original cassette tapes because the best possible copy had been made and the tapes were in a state of continuing deterioration.
