| Bio History Note | Rachel Gross (MC Class of 1974) donated this material to the Archives. Manchester alumna, Ruth Smith Kurtz, is Rachel’s mother. Regarding the Manchester College flyer containing an aerial photograph of campus and vicinity - The farm of LeRoy and Jennie Smith is circled. Their ten children all attended Manchester College. Ruth Smith, Rachel’s mother, was one of the ten. Buildings and farm in the picture are identified through handwritten notes. Regarding the Smith Home – “Smith Home ½ mi from my step to ad bldg. steps” |
