Scope and Content

Two audio recordings, tape #1 and tape #2.  Tape #1 was created on 12 April 1991 when Joe Clark spoke at Manchester College. The second tape provides information about Joe Clark.  Both tapes are for educational purposes only.

Digital copy of original cassette tapes are located on Archives Network [W:] in folder titled, [Audio and Video Recordings Special Speakers and Interviews]. The cassette tapes were discarded 27 January 2016 because the best digital copy had been made and the tapes were only in a state of deterioration.

Bio History NoteJoe Clark was a former Army drill instructor, a classroom educator, a principal, assistant superintendent, author of "Laying Down the Law." He was the subject for the film, "Lean on Me," by Warner Brothers.
