Bio History Note

It appears as if these materials are for the Women's Work "Central Region" of the Church of the Brethren, which separates them from materials pertaining to Indiana's Church of the Brethren "Central," "Southern," or later, "South Central" District.  The "Central Region" of the Church of the Brethren would encompass other states and would be a much larger group.  The researcher will need to establish if all or some of this grouping is related to the"Central Region" or if some materials were confused and actually belong to the "South Central" Indiana District of the Church of the Brethren.  The Archivist is not completely familiar with such designations and there is such little time for researching the history of "Women's Work" and "Women's Fellowship," etc.

It appears the Central Region consisted of:

Middle Indiana

Southern Indiana

Michigan

Northern Indiana

Southern Ohio

North East Ohio

North Western Ohio

Southern Illinois

Northern Illinois

What about Wisconsin? - perhaps included with Illinois?
