A collection of Roy Plunkett's diplomas,  awards and commendations:

10 October 1989 - Plaque from ABIFLOUR - Brazilian Fluoropolymers Association.

Diploma - The Ohio State University salutes Roy Plunkett with the degree of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, 17 March 1977.

Diploma - The Ohio State University confers upon Roy Plunkett the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, 15 June 1936.

Moldy and wrapped according - The Ohio State University grants Plunkett the degree of Master of Science - 22 December 1933.

The Ohio State University in its Centennial Year honors Roy Plunkett for distinguished achievements and notable service to the University.

Diploma - The Society of the SIGMA XI devoted to the promotion of research in science by this diploma certifies that Roy Joseph Plunkett was duly elected a member of The Ohio State Chapter of the Society of the SIGMA XI 11 May 1936.

Certificate of Membership - The American Institute of Chemists - "Life Fellow."

Certificate of Membership - The American Institute of Chemists - "Fellow."

Modern Pioneers in Creative Industry 1965 award issued by the National Association of Manufacturers.

Certificate - AMMERMAN Enterprises, Inc., Plunkett successfully completed The Ammerman Electronic Media Training Seminar in Houston, 31 January 1985.

The National Geographic Society elects Plunkett as a member of that Society, 26 Marcy 1956.

The State of Texas - Roy Plunkett is commissioned Admiral in the Texas Navy, 15 March 1972.

The Franklin Institute of Pennsylvania, for the promotion of the mechanic arts, certifies that Roy Plunkett has been elected to annual membership, August 1959.

Washington College - 2 June 1968 - presents Roy Plunkett with Doctor of Science, honoris causa - along with statement of Plunkett's achievements (will soon be on the moon and housewives bless you).

State of Ohio, Office of the Governor (George Voinovich),  celebrates inductees into the Ohio Science and Technology Hall of Fame to take place on 3 March 1991.

Boy Scouts of America - The Silver Beaver Award - 21 February 1955 (the actual Silver Beaver medal is located elsewhere in the collection).

Photograph of individuals (including Plunkett) in academic regalia and  autographed by President of Ohio State - probably related to receipt of degree.

Resolution 22 May 1975 - The United Fund of Salem County  recognizes Plunkett for his past 21 years of leadership in service (see other United Fund award in collection).

Honorary Citizen of the City of Corpus Christi - granted by the Mayor, 4 March 1971.
