Bio History Note

Roy Plunkett was a Manchester College graduate in the Class of 1932.  He became a prominent scientist and was the inventor of Teflon.

Archivist Note

The provenance of the envelope and invitation to the Ohio State University dedication of the Plunkett historical marker is unknown.  They were brought to the Archives by Rob Gratz, Library Director on 14 August 2012.
