Folder #1:

Photographs of the seven Buck sisters.Photographs of the two daughters of M. M. and Minnie Sherrick (Marjorie Ruth Sherrick and Dorothy Miriam Nevon Sherrick).  Obituary of Lulu Raw Young. Birth-house of the Buck sisters in Polo, Illinois.

Folder Packet #2

Minnie Sherrick (Minnie Mae Buck) materials: published writing, poetry, marriage certificate, obituary.  A daughter writes, "Mother's Poems about 1932-1938, the years at N. Manchester - which might have been her happiest had it not been for Harold's illness." Minnie's death certificate, funeral plans and expenses, names of parents.

Folder #3 - 1923 dedication booklet of the new Mount Morris Church of the Brethren with a tribute to Wilbur Stover.

Folder #11 - Paul Henry Sherrick - photograph and biography. He volunteered in 1916 in 1st World War and went to France.  After a safe return and university degrees, Paul went back into the military life to be a Lieutenant Colonel.  He is buried in Arlington Cemetery.

Scrapbook probably reflecting Dorothy Sherrick's family and life experiences, including romances. Caution to the researcher - pages and photographs are falling out and are not well documented.

Bible, perhaps belonging to M. M. Sherrick, from Mount Morris, with personal notes.

Bio History Note

Sherrick family photographs, scrapbooks, photographs correspondence, poetry, publications, and memorabilia of M. M. Sherrick, Minnie Mae (Buck) Sherrick, Dorothy Sherrick, Marjorie Sherrick, Robert H. Sherrick, Burton Sherrick, and members of the Buck and E. S. Young families.

Lela Ruth Young and Lulu Rae Young were daughters of Nettie Buck and S. S. Young.

Henry and Eliza Buck had seven daughters, who were born in a house in Polo, Illinois. Minnie Mae married M. M. Sherrick.

Minnie Mae (Buck) Sherrick was the wife of M. M. Sherrick and the mother of Marjorie Sherrick and Dorothy Sherrick.

M. M. Sherrick stands for Marvin Manam Sherrick. He graduated from Mount Morris College in 1918.

M. M. Sherrick and Minnie's sons were named Robert Harold Sherrick and Paul Henry Sherrick.

Archivist believes Paul Henry graduated from Mount Morris College with a major in Chemistry (more research is needed). Goggle Books - "Catalogue of the University of Michigan."
