Postcard was published by Burdge's Stores, North Manchester, IN. Postcard written to Mrs. Milo Rufner, Auburn, Indiana It was sent from Syracuse, Indiana on 27 August 1913 at 9:00 A.M. The note was written on August 26, 1913. The note is a little hard to read but goes something like: Dear Aunt - Jessie arrived here all O!K! and we were all glad to see her but disappointed that no one come (sic) with her but was very glad that she come we were down home Sun. Ma is fairly well. Pa is well we canned peaches yesterday and today Tomorrow we are going to the lake if nothing happens She is going down home some day this week. Now don't worry about here(sic) we will take care of her and show her a good time. Write Addi
