Renovation and Building Newspaper Articles:

April 1963 article, "Improvements on College Campus": Emma Neher residence and barn to be razed for more parking - Gardner Hall to be razed for parking - East Hall addition under construction- razing former biology building - removing old barracks and maintenance shops just west of heating plant - new maintenance building on site occupied by barracks - new parking area west of athletic field - hard surface parking lot areas planned.

Undated - Manchester to make courses available by broadcast by airborne television.  Additional facilities for foreign languages and psychology with the completion of a 30 station language lab and a psychology laboratory with space for 24 students.

1963 Announcement of $100,000 maintenance center (Neher Maintenance Center).

1992 razing of historic Ikenberry Hall.

A. Blair Helman Hall and Patricia Kennedy Helman Lounge to open doors August 1993.

Articles regarding completed Helman Hall project. Helmans honored at Hall dedication. Helman Hall is the first new building in 10 years.
