#!. Pocket hymnal belonging to Elder Samuel Leckrone. Evidence of ownership can be found by his signature on the first page, the hand writing being of this time period. Further, the owner states this hymnal was found in the bottom of a box of book purchased at the public auction of Elder Leckrone's grandson. Samuel Leckrone (1848 - 19 ) was called to the ministry in the Eel River Church in 1876. He was ordained in 1881 after the presiding elder went with the Old Order movement. He would serve for the next 30 years. #2. A History of the North Manchester Old German Baptist Church, by Walter A. Coning written in 1957. A 22 page booklet outlining the history from Schwarzenau, Germany to the present day (1957). Inserted within this book's pages are photocopies of the newspaper article, "Henry Cripe, 90 Years Old, Recalls Early Day History." #3. Minutes of the Annual Meetings of the Brethren. Also, Supplemental Minutes from 1876 to 1885, and Appendix, Designed for the Promotion of the Peace and Harmony of the Brotherhood, 1886. #4. Copies of the Old German Baptist publication, The Vindicator, 1880 - 1979 (incomplete). These copies were placed in the periodicals section of the IIS along with the other Vindicators. #6. Stereoscope cards associated with people and places in the Eel River Brethren Community. Mr. McKee's research indicates these photographic images were taken spontaneously around 1905.
