Bio History Note

Mount Morris Church of the Brethren is located in the Northern Illinois and Wisconsin District of the Church of the Brethren.

Otho Winger presented the dedicatory sermon at the dedication of the new church building on 27 May 1923.  Other names associated with the program were: Prof. J. E. Stover, Pastor F. e. McCune, Elder M. W. Emmert, Elder W. B. Stover, Clarence Heckman, Elder E. P. Trostle, Dorthy Sherrick, Rev. F. E. McCune, Rev. George Kabele (local pastor), Rev. H. H. Hurst (local pastor), Rev. John Dickson (local pastor).

Activities were scheduled at Mount Morris College, including an address delivered by Dr. M. P. Boynton.
