Bio History Note

Excerpt from "Good Times in the Rural Church," by Edward Schlingman:

If we are to be well-balanced, helpful Christians in any generation, fun must be woven into the whole warp and woof of the pattern of our lives.  It cannot be just a false design appliqued or painted on after the character has been taken off the loom.

A person can have fun in its true meaning, however, only if he is at peace with himself and his surroundings and possesses a sense of well-being which comes from deep contentment…"

This booklet gives an overview of activities including: music, drama, folk dance, games, crafts, sports, etc.
