Archivist’s Notte: Due to COVID-19 and the uncertainmonths ahead in terms of student retention and application – a spending freezeis in effect. It is uncertain whetherthe archives will be able to purchase supplies during this, or next, fiscalyear. For this reason, I am skimping on file folders and plastic paperclips. When possible, I am using theoriginal folders and metal paper clips that have held these materials for approximately the last 35 years. 40-50 boxes of materials that had been stored in Calvin Ulrey Hall, were moved to the archives during 2019, as Calvin Ulrey was being removed for office space. This occurred when the Administration Building became so dilapidated, that bricks were falling from exterior walls, making the Ad Building too hazardous for use.
