Jeanine,

I have been told you might be interested in the 3 vintage Auroras that Ihave.  One is from 1917, a second from 1920, and a third from 1923. All of them are a little worn, of course, but certainly not enough to destroy.  I would like you to have them if you want them

My family has a very close connection to Manchester.  I am a 1951 graduate myself, but both my parents were also graduates, Esther Eisenbise and WilliamM. Beahm.  Also  my father’s sisters, perhaps all five of them were graduates: Anna, Sarah, Esther, Mary and Lois   Besides them, my father’s mother’s sister, Elizabeth Bucher, was married to L. D Ikenberry who was perhaps the treasurer of Manchester for many years, certainly the years I attended, 1948-1951  My father’s Uncle L. D. and Elizabeth had a daughter Anna Dunbar, who was the manager of the bookstore when I was there.  I think her son, Wilbur, may have been a student in some of the years I was there.

Esther married William Beahm and the couple served as Church of the brethren missionaries in Nigeria.
Archivist Note
