Scope and Content

1. Magazines and newspaper articles circa the 1960's regarding John F. Kennedy, his presidency, family and death assassination. Parts of the collection follow:

POST, The Saturday Evening Post 14 December 1963, "In Memoriam, A senseless tragedy, The New President."

"Look," 26 September 1961 excerpt with enlarged photo of Caroline Kennedy.

"Look," 11 October 1960, "The Kennedy Women, they are bright, energetic and determined.  The American political scene has never seen anything like them."

"LIFE," John F. Kennedy Memorial Edition.

2. Newspapers detailing the slaying of Bobby Kennedy, June 1968.

3. One Christmas card reproduced from an original paiting by Mrs. John F. Kennedy with a handwritten note to Joyce from "Gladdys."  This is presumably Gladdys Muir.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was killed in April of 1968 and Bobby Kennedy was killed in June, 1968.
