Bio History NoteCarl Waldo Holl graduated from Manchester College in 1916 and from The Ohio State University in 1922.  From 1923 until his death in 1961, he served as a chemistry professor and dean.

C.W. Holl and his brother, Dio Holl (MC 1917), were charter members of Gamma Alpha, the graduate scientific fraternity at The Ohio State University.  They were installed on 21 April 1922.
