The award recognizes the single new chapter that has shown the most progress in developing its chapter’s foundation and establishing a pathway for future success.

APhA-ASP provides students additional opportunities to develop into professionals and exposes them to a broad view of career options available to pharmacists. Activities of Manchester’s chapter include a variety of patient care projects, among them are Operation Immunizations, Operation Diabetes, Operation Heart and Generation Rx. Chapter members participate in these community engagement opportunities, attend state and national pharmacy meetings, and take part in a number of networking opportunities throughout the year.

Commencement 2016, scheduled for May 14, will mark a milestone in Manchester University history when it confers its first Doctor of Pharmacy degrees.

Deeply rooted in the University’s mission to graduate those with “ability and conviction who draw upon their education and faith to lead principled, productive, and compassionate lives that improve the human condition,” pharmacy at Manchester offers dynamic learning and forward-looking education. The focus is on patient-centered care with a commitment to integrity, service and a goal toward the greater good.

The Manchester University Fort Wayne campus, 10627 Diebold Road, is home to MU’s four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program.
