    iPlanner Logo

Surprise!!!!  If you use Outlook on MacOS or Windows, you may have noticed the image above in your Ribbon.  This tool is available to enhance the experience for those who use Microsoft Planner, a project management tool.  If you want to use iPlanner because you use Planner, please contact Help Desk.  Unfortunately, for now, we aren’t offering training on iPlanner.

iPlanner is also available for Excel.  The Excel iPlanner component helps with Planner reporting.

Wilmer and Helen Walker Active Learning Classroom

Construction continues on the new Center for Effective Teaching and Learning (CETL) classroom on the south end of Funderburg’s second floor.  Known as the Wilmer and Helen Walker Active Learning Classroom, the space provides faculty and students the opportunity to develop new ways of teaching and learning to enhance educational effectiveness.  The new classroom includes a significant technology component to determine how best to utilize the technology in a course’s curriculum.  For example, the classroom uses advanced 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless technology, two interactive whiteboards, video and teleconferencing abilities, as well as the usual assortment of classroom technology like Apple TV, document camera, a classroom computer, and more.  We expect the CETL classroom to be operational by the middle of October.
