Potential Internet / Web Outages

Our Internet service provider, I-Light, informed us that we might experience Internet outage on Wednesday, September 11th, from midnight to 5:00 a.m., and Thursday, September 12th, from midnight to 5:00 a.m.

The website (https://www.manchester.edu) will be unavailable most of the day on Saturday, September 14th, for an upgrade.

New Emergency Alert System

Be sure to sign up for the new Spartan Alerts since none of the information you supplied to old version remains available.  We use the system to notify you in the event of an emergency.  You can configure the system to send you a text, call you, email you, or any of the three to others of your choosing.  To learn more, please visit https://www.manchester.edu/student-life/university-safety/emergency-alert-system.

If you experience any problems with the enrollment process, please contact University Safety.

Change in AT&T FAN

In recent newsletters, we informed you that the AT&T FAN number used to provide you a discount on your cell phone plan had changed.  That statement was in error.  To obtain the discount as an employee, please present that FAN # as 03445236.  Students should use FAN # 03445239.  You likely need to request the discount by showing the AT&T staff at a local store your MU ID with the appropriate FAN #.

Classroom Technology Support

With the start of the Fall 2019 semester, the ITS Help Desk assumes responsibility for North Manchester classroom technology.  Please be sure to contact Help Desk should you experience any issues.

Paper Jam?  Please Don’t Remove the Fuser

Please do not remove the fuser unit in the copiers to remove jams. There are instructions on the yellow sticker on the fuser unit that instruct you how to release the rollers so that you can easily remove a jam.

You may also contact Help Desk for support.
