2011 Art in Context in Italy
: This intensive travel course to Italy (including Florence, Rome, Venice and additional cities) provides the opportunity to experience and study examples of art and architecture first-hand. The course included visits to historical sites and important museums throughout Italy. Course study material provide an overview of the major periods and movements in art and architecture of the western world. Class sessions began on campus for the first week of January Session, followed by approx. two weeks of immersion travel in Italy. Italian not required. Fulfills Core-4AR or an elective in the Art major/minor.
2010 Art in Context and Living the Spanish Language in Spain
: This course was conducted throughout cities in Spain and included visits to major museums and historic sites. Spanish is not required for the art course. The course can also be taken as an Art elective, hours toward graduation, or an audit. GE-I1, C-4AR
2009 Experiencing the Arts in Italy
: Experience the Arts in Rome, Florence, Venice and other Italian cities, while studying painting, sculpture, architecture and music within their historical periods. This course combined on-campus information with an off-campus study tour.
