And we’re helping nursing students get there faster with our Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) degree program—students with a bachelor’s degree in another field can earn their ABSN in just 16 months .

Our traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (TBSN) Program offers students of all backgrounds a well-rounded education in pursuit of a nursing degree.

Manchester is committed to training each nursing student to provide high-level, compassionate care to diverse populations. All students have a community engagement course where they go out into the community and volunteer at various locations.

Get hands-on experience in your field

Accelerated nursing degree students learn in the state-of-the-art Mirro Center, where they can practice basic and advanced nursing skills using high-tech nursing simulation manikins that can mimic human reaction to illness.

As a nursing student at Manchester University, you’ll also engage with AR/VR experiences when learning anatomy and physiology through Z-Space and virtual dissection with the Anatomage®, which allows students to examine a 3-D virtual cadaver.

Individualize your learning experience

Each nursing student has a weekly practice day in a specialty area of their selection, where they will practice for a total of 240 hours under a registered nurse just prior to their graduation. This helps immerse the students in a real-life experience of working as a nurse.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 6 percent growth in the nursing workforce by 2031, and, according to ProjectionsCentral.com, Indiana is projected to add more than 5,200 new registered nursing positions between 2020 and 2030.

Over the last decade, graduates of our athletic training degree program have passed Board of Certification (BOC) exams at an average of 98 percent.
