Manchester University's PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency is a one-year program with an affiliation with Lutheran Health Network and a number of different sites in northern and central Indiana. The resident will have the opportunity to collaborate with Manchester faculty and many other local pharmacy practitioners. Through multiple learning experiences throughout the year, residents manage clinical and academic responsibilities and, upon completion of the program, will possess the ability to function as independent ambulatory care practitioners – with an added focus on teaching, scholarship and service.

An Emphasis on Teaching

Manchester's PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency puts an emphasis on teaching with required development and delivery of didactic and laboratory course content. The resident will also serve as a co-preceptor and primary preceptor for APPE students. This residency is ideal for candidates wishing to pursue an ambulatory care clinical faculty position. Residents will receive an instructor appointment with the College of Pharmacy, Natural and Health Sciences.

Service to the Community

Manchester University is committed to service and patient-centered care, and the PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency puts residents in settings where they can improve the human condition through service and community engagement.

Scholarship Opportunities

This residency provides mentorship for a clinical research project as well as an academic scholarship of teaching and learning research project. Results of these projects will be presented at various local and national meetings.

This program participates in the National Matching Services (NMS). This residency site agrees that no person at this site will solicit, accept, or use any ranking-related information from any residency applicant.
