Prerequisite Requirements


To qualify for admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, applicants must satisfy the prerequisites for undergraduate coursework listed below. These required courses need not culminate in an undergraduate degree, however:

  • applicants must achieve at least a 2.5 GPA in both cumulative and prerequisite GPAs,
  • no grade below a ā€œCā€ will count toward prerequisite coursework (NOTE: a C- does not meet this minimum requirement)
  • all prerequisite coursework must be completed by the spring prior to the fall you wish to enroll (by June 30, 2017 for the current admissions cycle)
  • all prerequisite coursework must be completed at an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution.
  • applicants must complete a Prerequisite Coursework Checklist and return it to the Office of Student Affairs at Manchester University. Prerequisite Course Checklist 2016-2017
