All P4 students will be returning to the Fort Wayne campus the week of final exams for graduation week preparation activities and events. This information is meant to serve as an additional resource for you, in addition to the direct email communications that you have received. Graduation Week – Monday, May 16 thru Thursday, May 19
All P4 students will report to the Fort Wayne campus at the date and time communicated in the PHRM 601 Personal and Professional Development Syllabus. The following activities will be taking place:
- Preparing for the NAPLEX examination
- Preparing for the MPJE examination.
- Evaluating the pharmacy program and providing constructive feedback through the completion of surveys and focus groups.
- Completing important graduation and financial surveys and questionnaires
Pharmacy Awards and Hooding Ceremony, Friday, May 20
Graduation week culminates with our P4 Awards Ceremony on the Thursday evening prior to commencement Hooding Ceremony on the Friday prior to commencement. This event begins in the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation, next door to the Fort Wayne campus. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. This event will recognize the top preceptors identified in the P4 year, students chosen to received top honor awards, and students who completed additional certificate programs. Each graduating student also will be presented their Doctor of Pharmacy hoods that will be worn for commencement.
Professional and Graduate Commencement, Saturday, May 21, North Manchester
On Saturday morning, our graduating class, their families and friends, along with faculty and staff, will make the journey to North Manchester to complete graduation week. Professional and Graduate Commencement Exercises in Cordier Auditorium will be recognizing the graduates in pharmacy, pharmacogenomics and athletic training.
To prepare for the Commencement processional, graduates must report to Cordier Auditorium at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Students will be responsible to bring all of their graduation regalia, including their hood and all honors and organization cords. Students will meet with members of the faculty and Office of Academic and Student Affairs where they will be given further instructions for the ceremony.
