Community Dinner (Fellowship of Churches)

Manchester University has a long standing relationship with the Community Dinner. Join us in service twice a month at Zion Lutheran Church. It is open to all community members.

Center for History

Looking for an amazing student:  In the spring the North Manchester Center for History will a Smithsonian exhibit on display. The all volunteer staff is looking for a student to help load information on to an app that will be used for the road show. ( this would be about 10 hours, schedule is flexible)

Looking for dependable student: The center for history is looking for a "Docent" (person who acts as a guide, typically on a voluntary basis, in a museum, art gallery, or zoo.) to Help out on two Saturdays per month. Hours: 10-2pm (Student can work on homework during this time)

Animal Shelter

From cleaning, walking pets, brushing, and folding laundry, we are excited to head over to the local shelters to spend some much needed time with dogs and cats. 

Note: MU students switch between Wabash Shelter and Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County from trip to trip .

North Manchester Public Library (NMPL)

Thursday, October 17th from 5pm to 7pm

Volunteers are needed!!!! This event brings many children and families from the local community

Join us as we are throwing a classic Halloween party this year and everyone is invited! We'll have fun games, crafts, snacks, temporary tattoos, face painting, our annual costume contest, and for the first time ever, hay rides! Come join us for a spooky silly time!

Costume Contest

Wear your best spooky silly costume and enter our annual costume contest for a chance to win a fabulous trophy! All participants will register for the contest at the Halloween party. Winners will be announced the following week.

Join the Office of Volunteer Services as we continue years of tradition, building the Haunted Police/EMS Station free for the community to attend. This year we have a theme of the "Doll House". For this date we are looking for folks to come with us to help black out the walls of the police station and bring the props from the shed.

 MSO Board of Directors is looking for a few volunteers on Monday, October 28th "Family Fright Night" concert in Cordier.

6 Ushers for the concert to hand out programs 
2 students to run children's games 
2-5 students to pant faces 

 Our goal is to make a night of it with food trucks, games, and costumes!
