You have to experience Manchester to really "get it." After all, a campus visit is one of the most important steps in choosing the college that's right for you. We warmly welcome you to visit us and learn what we're all about (hint: relationships). We sincerely want to talk with you about your interests and goals, and discover whether Manchester is the fit for your academic future.

Come during one of our visit events for specialized opportunities or schedule an individual visit on a weekday.


Individual Weekday Visits

Come to campus for a personalized visit on a weekday. Options include a tour; time with admissions, faculty, coaches, and current students; a complimentary lunch; and more.

Saturday Visit

Saturday visits are only available on the dates shown in the selection. The visits begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time and include the following:

9:30 a.m. - Admissions Presentation
10 a.m. - Campus Tour
11 a.m. - Academics Presentation
11:30 a.m. - Lunch with student host

High school students are invited to get an overview of Manchester University during Preview Week! Visit days include an admissions session, campus tour, academic and financial aid information, and lunch.

Saturday Spartan Days
When:

9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

High school students of all ages are welcome to attend a group Spartan Day to get an overview of Manchester.  Spartan Days may include an information fair, campus tour, academic sessions, financial aid information, student panel, and complimentary lunch.

Evening Visit

Prospective students will experience college life by spending time with current MU students, eating in Haist Commons, taking part in campus wide student engagement events, etc. Students begin their immersion into Spartan-life by meeting with their student hosts for dinner between 4:30 and 5PM. After dinner, hosts and guests will attend a Manchester Activities Council (MAC) event. After the MAC event, students will return to one of our residence halls for games, movies, or time to just hang out with their hosts. Before leaving Manchester on Saturday, students will return to Haist for breakfast.

Academic Days 

Our distinguished faculty host special visit opportunities each fall for many of our areas of study. These visits include the ability to sit in on classes, tour campus, speak with professors and current students, and enjoy a complimentary lunch in Haist Commons.

Music @ Manchester dates:

Attending one of the Music at Manchester Weekends is an excellent way to experience what the Music Department at Manchester University has to offer you. Over a short two-day period you will be able to meet the entire music department faculty, take a private lesson with one of our outstanding studio professors on your instrument/voice, participate in a rehearsal with one or more of our great ensembles, and take your audition. You may also choose to follow some of our music students to classes, dine on campus, and even stay in the dorms overnight.

Cross Country/Track & Field Dinner and Team Social
When:
 Sunday, December 2
4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Upper Jo Young Switzer Center

High school seniors and their families are invited to this evening event which includes a welcome, a complimentary meal, alumni speakers, Q&A panels, and a chance to meet and interact with the coaching staff, the current team and alumni from the program.  You will also have the chance to hear from Admissions and take an optional tour of campus.
