Hi Everyone! Welcome to Manchester University! I am Jacob Sweet, and I am a native of Hicksville, Ohio, located in Northwest Ohio in Defiance County. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in sport management with a minor in journalism from Manchester in 2016. I received my Master of Science degree in Leadership from Trine University in October 2019. I loved my time at Manchester and I became an admissions counselor to help give that experience back to you! Before returning to Manchester, I was a sports reporter at The Bryan Times and a general assignment reporter at the Paulding Progress. My favorite part about Manchester is the sense of community and the family feel. You can’t go anywhere on campus without knowing someone. I also loved my time as a cross country and track and field distance runner for the Spartans. I am the biggest Friends TV show fan, Colts fan, Duke basketball fan, and Pepsi fan. I hope I get the chance to get to know you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at anytime!
