The Manchester Fund

The Manchester Fund ensures that the University can focus on teaching and learning while also handling the day-to-day realities of operating two busy campuses. It addresses our most urgent needs and makes an impact on the education and wellbeing of our students every single day.

MU Fort Wayne Food Pantry

The demands of graduate school can make it difficult for some students to properly feed and care for themselves. The pantry at MUFW provides non-perishable food and toiletries for students who are struggling to pay for expenses beyond tuition.

The Acorns Food Pantry

Like the Fort Wayne location’s food pantry, the Acorns Pantry ensures that students at the North Manchester campus have access to non-perishable food and toiletries. Help combat food insecurity in our own community with a gift on Giving Tuesday.

Campus Beautification and Preservation Fund

Manchester’s historic campus is beautiful, but it takes dedicated time, skill, and resources to keep it maintained, safe, and picturesque. Although our grounds and maintenance staff provide excellent care to preserve our campus, we need your help. The Campus Beautification and Preservation Fund offers support for their work in maintaining our facilities, grooming our grounds, and ensuring community safety.

Wendell Sweitzer Assistance Fund

The Wendell Henry Sweitzer Memorial Fund for Students in Need was created to support Manchester students who are facing extraordinary need in times of financial emergency. Support for this fund provides a safety net for those students.

Students of Color Assistance Fund

The Students of Color Assistance Fund was created to help students – preference given to students of color – with a variety of needs related to continuing their education at Manchester University. Support includes but is not limited to tuition, room and board, books, testing fees, transportation to internships, and food.
