Alicia Roberts ’01 Baird - After studying in Ghana as a student, Baird asked, “How can I change the world?” She has done just that, helping deserving students access a college education through her work at Strada Education Network. As a Manchester trustee Baird helped attract a new generation of diverse students from Indianapolis to her alma mater. She holds a master’s degree in philanthropy and serves a number of nonprofit organizations.

The Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award recognizes Manchester University alumni, age 31-40, who:

  • demonstrate outstanding leadership in their careers,
  • contribute to the betterment of their community and its citizens, and
  • retain a strong alliance with the University.
