Frequently Asked Questions about Homecoming and Family Weekend

Q: Does it cost to attend Homecoming?
A:
No, attending Homecoming itself does not cost anything. However, the meals do have a cost.
Q: Do I need to register ahead of time?
A:
Pre-registration is not required, but is prefered. It helps us plan ahead of time for events that require seating.  We encourage everyone to stop by the registration tent at Homecoming so you can receive your nametag, a schedule, and some MU swag courtesy of the Office of Alumni Relations.
Q: What classes have a reunion this year?
A:
This year we will celebrate the classes of 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018.
Q: Is Homecoming only for adults?
A:
This year we are celebrating Homecoming and Family Weekend. We invite people of all ages to join us. We will have a kids zone, the opportunity for kids to run out with the team, and more for children.
Q: Where can I eat while on campus?
A: Class reunions will be held on the mall. Lunch is $18 per person, $10 for ages 4-10, and 4 and under are free. Lunch includes: Teriyaki chicken, veggie kabobs, rice, and dessert. Those who are not celebrating their reunion year are invited to join us at the general luncheon in the Jo Young Switzer Center parking lot.  Lunch is $15 per adult, $10 for ages 4-10, and 4 and under are free. This year there is no pre-registration for our general lunch. You will pay when you get to the parking lot. Lunch includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips, and cookies.
Q: What do I do if I have dietary restrictions?
A: If you register ahead of time and will be attending a class reunion luncheon or the Alumni Honor Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet, please indicate on your registration that you have dietary restrictions. If you plan to attend the general luncheon, please let a staff member know your restrictions so we can help you.
Q:Are there accomodations for those with mobility restrictions?
A:
