The Manchester University community eagerly awaits Commencement.
Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2022 will take place on Saturday, May 21 in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus:
- 9 a.m. – Graduate and Professional ceremonies, encompassing: Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Athletic Training and Master of Pharmacogenomics
- 11:30 a.m. – Master of Accountancy and Gilbert College of Business; College of Pharmacy, Natural and Health Sciences undergraduate programs
- 2:30 p.m. – College of Arts and Humanities; College of Education and Social Sciences undergraduate programs
These ceremonies will be livestreamed on Manchester Facebook, www.facebook.com/ManchesterUniv, for those unable to attend in person.
Graduates, faculty and families will gather on the Manchester University Mall after each ceremony. Alumni who are in the area are welcome to celebrate there with graduates and welcome them into the ranks of alumni.
Haist Commons in the Jo Young Switzer Center will be open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ($9, ages 10-plus; $5.50, ages 6-10; free for children 0-5). The Campus Store, just down the hall, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21.
Due to what we hope will be the last year of COVID-related restrictions, graduates will be permitted to have only a certain number of guests. Mask requirements, if any, will follow CDC recommendations at the time Commencement takes place.
Baccalaureate, which is open to the public, is 7 p.m. May 20 in Cordier Auditorium. Baccalaureate is a service of reflection and celebration honoring the Manchester University Class of 2022. You are welcome to come. We ask those attending to observe any masking or social distancing requirements that may be in place at the time.

The Pharmacy Hooding is 2 p.m. Friday, May 20 in the Mirro Center next to the Fort Wayne campus.
