Manchester travel inspires alum Barbknecht

Manchester graduate Nick Barbknecht’s inquisitiveness about other places was nurtured at MU, where he took several political trips and learned to appreciate the diversity and differences of a diverse and different world. He took that appreciation with him when he left North Manchester – and last summer turned it into a 30-day, 48-state road trip across America spurred on by a man named Randal Olson and a website named Discovery News.
