Anthony Gillespie

Anthony "Tony" Gillespie is the Director of Public Policy and Engagement for Indiana Minority Health Coalition (IMHC), a state wide organization that focuses on addresses chronic disease and other health related issues that disproportionately affects racial and ethnic minority populations. He manages government relations including legislative education and liaison activities, focuses on public policy development and working with legislators/policy makers on current Indiana and/or national legislation/policy. He also provides capacity building and technical assistance to seven IMHC coalition/affiliates in the Northern region of Indiana.
Gillespie is a founding member and former Executive Director of Brothers Uplifting Brothers (BUB), a grassroots HIV/AIDS organization in Northwest Indiana. BUB targeted gay men and transgendered individuals living with HIV and provided housing/homelessness programs and secondary prevention services.
Gillespie has more than 20 years experience working at the state and community level addressing HIV/AIDS and many other chronic disease issues and health disparities
