Özlem Ersin, associate professor and assistant department chair of pharmaceutical sciences, has been appointed chair of the program committee – Medical Care Section of the American Public Health Association. In this capacity, she will lead planning work for the scientific content at the organization’s annual meeting, which is in Denver this year. Ersin is currently a governing councilor of the same organization.
