Posted Nov. 15 - Michelle Calka, assistant professor of communication studies, presented a paper at the National Communication Association annual conference Nov. 10-13 in Philadelphia. Her research paper was titled, “Agenda Setting in U.S. and Cuban Media Coverage of President Obama’s Visit to Cuba.” Michelle also was the conference planner of the Women’s Caucus interest group and now becomes chair.
