Pharmacy students win national awards to present at conference

Posted Jan. 24 - Second-year pharmacy students Kalee Swanson and Kelvin Reynolds have won Undergraduate Diversity Initiatives national-level travel awards from the Society of Toxicology. They will be treated as VIPs at the national meeting March 12-16 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. These students also will present a poster on cancer pathology titled “Dietary Exposure to an Admixture of Polyphenolics Significantly Reduces Dimethylnitrosamine (dmn)-Induced Carcinogenic Changes in Mouse Lungs.”
