Posted Feb. 22 - On January 29, Environmental Studies students Tristan Barley and Josh Melton and Assistant Professor Suzanne Beyeler, director of the Environmental Studies Program, presented results from their summer research project at the Walmart Inc. corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Ark. This project was part of an ongoing research partnership between MU’s Environmental Studies Program and Kleenco Maintenance & Construction to evaluate the ecological integrity of mitigated wetlands on Walmart properties throughout the Midwest.
