by User Not Found | Mar 09, 2018

Posted March 9 - Professor Steve Naragon, chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, has been awarded a scholarship, “Research Stays for University Academics and Scientists, 2018,” from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (German Academic Exchange Service) to support his research in Germany during fall semester 2018.

The following spring semester, his work will be funded by the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences). They will support completion of his transcription and edition of J. G. Herder’s student notes from the metaphysics lectures of Immanuel Kant, and their preparation for eventual publication as a volume in Kants gesammelte Schriften, an ongoing project of the academy.
