Posted Nov. 19 - Debra Lynn, professor of music and director of choral studies, was the guest conductor and composer in residence for the Canyon County Honor Choir of Nampa, Idaho, on Nov. 12-14. She conducted the choir of more than 250 voices in rehearsal for three days and led them in a public performance the final evening. In addition, the event was the premiere of Lynn’s composition “The Robin,” written specifically for this ensemble with string orchestra and piano.
