Academic Days: Manchester invites prospective students to check out majors

College-bound students and their families can get a personalized, in-depth look at specific majors and departments at Manchester University’s five Academic Days this fall.

Students can sit in on classes, tour campus, speak with professors and current students, and enjoy a free lunch in the Jo Young Switzer Center.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 22, is Education Academic Day, for those interested in early childhood education, educational studies, elementary education, secondary education and special education.
  • Monday, Nov. 3, is Pre-Professional Sciences Academic Day, with a focus on pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-optometry, pre-physician assistant and pre-veterinary medicine.
  • Thursday, Nov. 6, is Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience Academic Day.
  • Friday, Nov. 14, is Pre-pharmacy Academic Day.
  • Friday, Nov. 21, is Accounting and Business Academic Day, for those who are considering majors in accounting, business (general), finance, management or marketing.
