Michele Payton brings

“music that moves your mind”

to Manchester’s convocation on April 30

        Michele Payton’s “music that moves your mind” is coming to Manchester College, with a convocation at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 30.  The public is invited to the free concert by the award-winning songwriter, singer, guitarist, keyboardist, flutist in Cordier Auditorium.

       Payton, who recently finished her third CD of original songs, On My Mind, is being considered by Servant Records. The Warsaw resident has performed at community festivals, churches, county fairs and coffeehouses and done numerous radio and TV commercials. This year already, she has toured in Hawaii, California, Florida and Alabama. She is music director for South Whitley United Methodist Church.

       Her music is all original, written by Payton or in collaboration with Darla McCammon, including her other CD projects, My Own Grass Looks Greener and Wings. Learn more about Michele Payton at
