Fall break vandalism case solved

Vandalism in the early hours of Oct. 21 to Manchester College residence halls has resulted in swift discipline of four current students. Law enforcement agencies also plan to seek charges from the Wabash County prosecutor, said North Manchester Town Marshal Jeffrey L. Perry.

About 120 of the students still on campus during fall break were evacuated when smoke alarms were activated in two of the residence halls. Nobody was injured and there was no significant damage.

“We appreciate the quick concern from local law enforcement and fire departments as well as our College community to ensure our students are safe and their campus homes are restored to normal,” said College President Jo Young Switzer.
