Manchester University students at the North Manchester campus are being offered options for debriefing and counseling after a false threat was reported.
'The incident from the weekend is rare for Manchester University and may have left you with a variety of feelings,” said Danette Norman Till, director of Counseling Services. “If you would like to talk about your reactions, please join us for a gathering in (Petersime) Chapel Lounge from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday,” April 26.
April White and Norman Till, counselors with Manchester, will be available to talk with those who gather.
In addition, individual counseling sessions are available to students, free of charge, and may be arranged between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling Counseling Services at 260-982-5306 to make an appointment.
Student Development staff members are also available to assist students.
Note to media: The Sunday debriefing, like all other counseling, is private, and the media will not be admitted. Please respect their privacy and do not approach students in the area of the chapel.
