George Kalamaras, poet laureate of Indiana, will present his mission as a poet, writer and environmental scientist – with particular emphasis on his Wabash Watershed Venture and the power of poetic thinking – at a presentation on Thursday, March 5, at Manchester University.
It is free and open to the public.
He will take the stage at 3:30 p.m. in Cordier Auditorium on the North Manchester campus. The program offers VIA credit.
Kalamaras will also conduct a brief poetry-writing workshop with audience members.
MU students, faculty and staff are invited to readings by Kalamaras at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Winger Recital Hall on the North Manchester campus. That session is not for VIA credit.
