Spinning and Sex author to lecture
at Manchester spinning wheel exhibit

The author of Spinning and Sex will lecture Sunday, March 18 at a Manchester College exhibit of his daughter’s 18th- and 19th-century illustrations, prints and reproductions of the spinning wheel.

The talk and a reception for Dr. Robert E. Wagoner is 2 to 4 p.m. on March 18 in Gallery G in the upper College Union on the North Manchester campus. No reservations are necessary for the free event.

The four-month exhibit of the spinning wheel collection of 1979 Manchester graduate Annamarie Wagoner concludes March 25. Wagoner’s Spinning and Sex, Glimpses of Women, Work, and Love in Bygone Times showcases his daughter’s pictures.

Gallery G hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays when classes are in session. Appointments are available; call 260-982-5334. Admission is free.
